This title is from Caberet of course, I recently went to CinemaCity down in Norwich to see it. CinemaCity is owned by Picturehouse Cinemas now and has the feeling of a very well provided for independent.
Well hey guys! Welcome to my blog and first post, how do you do? I'm Jessica and am an English Lit student living in Suffolk, and, due to it being the hols I'm at rather a loose end and just want to talk about the stuff I'm into. This is namely fashion, literature, films and anything arty!
(Half my family are artists and the other half want to be, so it's in my blood).
I'll try not to be pretentious or irritating and I'm only going to write about the stuff I want to, and when I want to, so no feeling guilty about not posting everyday etc. like the diaries you keep up for 2 weeks max. when you were 11.
The title picture is of 60s model Jean Shrimpton, she rocks and I want her hairstyle! I think I look a little like her as well, with my skinny frame, big eyes with bags and retrousse nose, so that's also why I like the picture. In my experience with celebrities it is the ones that look most like you that you really like or really hate.
It has been a glorious day and I've taken some pictures of the garden:
and the meadow behind the house, I love how the poplars have created a sort of amphitheatre shape, it seems a bit threatening at the time:
